NYOS Charter is the only Charter school to participate in the Heller Awards for Young Artists--a local high shcool musical theatre competition. As a charter school, we receive significantly less funding than traditional public schools.  The Heller Awards provide real world training with professionals in their field, for young actors and crew members. This is an incredible opportunity to help our students grow thier knowledge and skills. We need funds to help us pay for transportation to the award ceremony and to pay for tickets to the event.
